Warning

Please ensure you are using SketchUp 2024 as the connector is only compatible with this version. All older versions of the SketchUp connectors (2022 - 2023) are available on the Omniverse Launcher until they are deprecated on October 1, 2025.

Installation#

Follow these steps to install the Omniverse SketchUp Connector:

  1. Download the Installer: Visit the NGC Catalog to download the latest installer for the Omniverse SketchUp Connector.

  2. Unzip the Package: Once downloaded, unzip the package to access the installer.

  3. Run the Installer: Locate and run the .exe file to start the installation process.

  4. License Agreement: Read and accept the Omniverse Software License Agreement.

  5. Choose Installation Location: - Default Location: Install in the default directory provided by the installer. - Specific Location: You may also choose to install it directly into your SketchUp plugins folder.

  • After installation, you should see the Omniverse SketchUp Connector listed in the Windows Add/Remove Programs panel, indicating successful installation.

Uninstall#

To uninstall the Omniverse Connector, follow these steps:

  1. Open the Windows Add/Remove Programs Panel: This can be found in the Windows Control Panel.

  2. Locate the Omniverse Connector: Look for the Omniverse Connector in the list of installed programs.

  3. Uninstall: Click on the Uninstall button to remove the connector from your system.

Note

If you installed the connector in a specific location, ensure that you have the necessary permissions to uninstall it.

Legacy SketchUp Connectors#

  • SketchUp Connectors for version 2022 - 2023 is available on the Omniverse Launcher until it is deprecated on October 1, 2025.

  • The Omniverse connector for SketchUp 2024 will continue to be available on the NGC catalog.
