Welcome Window

NVIDIA Omniverse™ USD Explorer has a streamlined User Interface that is curated for easy navigation, easy review, and optimized layout aggregation.

USD Explorer aims to help users get to their content with minimal friction. Upon starting the application, users are greeted with a Welcome Window. The Welcome Window provides access to some common operations.

  1. Open a file - Opening a file launches the file browser and opens directly into Review Mode.

  2. Start a New file - New sets up a new file, with good lighting, in Modify mode, ready for advanced users to start aggregating content.

  3. Learn about Omniverse and USD Explorer

  4. Open by Link - Any Omniverse Link can be pasted into this field. Pressing open will open the file and join a live session if required.
