Composition Details Panel

Value

The Value tab shows the value of the selected property. The property selection comes from the Properties Panel. Whereas the Properties Panel shows truncated values, the Value tab shows the full value. The Slice field allows you to see a subset of array type values by using Python List slicing notation. Values are color-coded according to the Property Legend.

Note

Property values are resolved values and they are also dependent on the value of the current frame.

Meta Data

The Meta Data tab lists the metadata fields and values for the selected prim or property.

Layer Stack

The Layer Stack tab lists the layers that compose the selected prim or property. It lists the layers from strongest opinion at the top to weakest opinion at the bottom. It does not list layers that do not author data for the selected prim or property.

Column Header	Description
Layer	The name of the layer contributing to the prim’s or property’s composition.
Path	The path of the prim or property in the contributing layer.
Value/Metadata	The value or metadata authored for the prim or property.

Composition

The Composition tab lists the layers that compose the selected prim. It lists the layers from strongest opinion at the top to weakest opinion at the bottom.

Column Header	Description
Layer	The name of the layer contributing to the prim’s composition.
Arc Type	The composition arc used to include the layer.
Arc Path	The prim’s path within a given layer.
Has Spec	Whether or not the layer has any data authored for the prim.
