Edit Menu
The Edit menu contains editing tools like Undo, Redo, and Select. It also includes a selection of more advanced capabilities:

Instance |
Creates a memory- and performance-friendly, but inflexible, copy of an asset |
Duplicate |
Copies the referenced asset, without layer changes, to the currently-selected layer |
Duplicate - All Layers |
Copies the referenced asset, with all layer changes, to its own layer |
Duplicate - Collapsed |
Combines changes from all layers, disconnects the reference relationship, and makes a new object on the currently-selected layer |
Parent |
Creates an Xform and nests the selected assets under the Xform |
Unparent |
Unnests the selected asset |
Group |
Puts all selected assets into a group container |
Toggle Visibility |
Hides or shows the selected items in the viewport |
Delete |
Deletes the entity that is currently selected in the stage |
Rename |
Renames the selected asset |
Hide Unselected |
Hides all assets that are not selected |
Unhide All |
Makes all hidden assets visible in your scene |
Focus |
Centers the viewport on the selected mesh |
Toggle Visualization Mode |
Toggles between standard mode and declutter mode |
