What can I do with Navigator?#
Omniverse Nucleus Navigator provides a simple directory interface for accessing servers, projects, and files including deep search capability.
Quick Start#
Search directories, servers, project file directories, assets, files.
Add servers - Omniverse Nucleus supports multiple server connections.
Download files.
Open files using Omniverse Apps.
View version info via “Checkpoints” - based on Rename, Move, or Copy activity.
Check user permissions - Omniverse Nucleus Navigator supports permission inheritance.

Menu Actions - Right Click#
User actions in Navigator are accessible via intuitive right-click menus, which change depending on what functionality is available and where you are in the directory.
Top Level (Omniverse) Directory#
You can add multiple servers from the top-level in the directory tree. This functionality can be enabled during initial setup, or later via your administrator.
Server List#
API Tokens: Generate and manage API tokens.
Log Out: Log out of Navigator.
Clear Cache: Nucleus Cache holds recently used files so they do not have to be downloaded each time they are needed, saving time and system resources. Clear the cache periodically or when switching projects to free up system memory.
Remove Server: Removes the selected server from the Navigator directory. You will have to authenticate to add it again at a later date.
Folders#
Copy: Copy a file to another location. Please note that if you overwrite any filers in the target folder, the existing files will be overwritten. There is no restore/recovery feature for copy operations.
Rename: Rename the selected file. Any upstream dependencies will be broken.
Rename: Rename the selected folder.
Delete: Delete the selected file/files. Ctrl + Select then right-click to delete multiple files.
Caution
The Delete operation will permanently delete items; there is no recovery feature.
Share: This allows you to copy the file path to share with other users.
Download: Downloads the selected file.
Upload Files: Upload files to the Nucleus server.
Upload Folder: Upload a folder to the Nucleus server.
A list of downloads/uploads are shown in the lower right corner of the client window.
Files#

Note
Multiple downloads are not currently supported, however, you can Ctrl + Click/select multiple files, then right-click and copy them manually to another folder using right-click “Paste” in the target folder.
Directory#
Right-clicking on a blank space in the directory allows the creation of new folders, or uploading files/folders.
A list of downloads/uploads are shown in the lower right corner of the client window.
